William L. New is an experienced executive with operating experience in Fortune 50 companies which include process industries that are based on thermal energy. Operating pulp and recycling plants for over 40 years, Mr. New is very familiar with combined heat and power plants, recovery boilers and associated pollution control systems as well as the establishment of waste collection and transportation systems.
In addition to the design, construct and operate experience, New has functioned as a crisis manager, turn-around executive and, as such, understands project finance and the requirements of the financial partners.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, he has also attended Harvard University’s Strategic Management Course and is a Graduate of The University of Wisconsin, Madison School of Business Executive Program. Additional education includes a Master of Arts in History.
During the last several years, New has been a developer in the green energy space which includes waste streams as well as biomass to energy proposals.
This background has enabled New to see the possibilities for cleaning up environmental disasters in developing areas of the world while providing socio/economic benefits for the local population.
